Brenda founded the business over 12 years ago, inspired by a lifelong interest in law and a genuine love of working with people. With a background that spans roles in adult education, estate agency management, and even importing industrial oil, Brenda brings a wealth of real-world insight to her work.
She has also served as a magistrate, where she developed a strong sense of fairness and a desire to support her community. Helping families secure their futures through Wills and Trusts felt like the perfect next step.
When she’s not working, Brenda is a proud member of Rock Choir, performing at iconic venues such as Abbey Road Studios, Durham Cathedral, and the Edinburgh Fringe. She also enjoys travelling and hiking in remote, beautiful parts of the world, playing guitar, and supporting her ever-growing family of children and grandchildren.
Brenda’s expertise and enthusiasm was recognised by Countrywide Tax & Trust Corporation, who invited her to join their national panel during its inception several years ago. This was a great compliment as there are many businesses in the UK working with Countrywide, and Brenda was extremely proud to be part of a very small group of chosen people. In this role, Brenda helps to test and evaluate their IT systems, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery for clients across the UK.
Karen abilities were quickly recognised and she was also invited to be part of Countrywide’s national panel, a testament to her professionalism and dedication.
When she’s not working, Karen divides her time between supporting her teenage children through education and exams, hitting the gym several times a week, and enjoying her passions for cooking, hiking, and theatre. She’s also deeply committed to charitable causes—raising funds for the Tommy’s Charity by hiking Ben Nevis, and walking to support Cancer Research in the Shine Night Walk this October.
